Looking to put together acoustic covers duo

I'd like to try and put together an acoustic covers duo in Dublin- I play guitar and sing, and I'd be looking for someone else who does the same. I'd like to play some Jim Croce songs, and maybe some Simon and Garfunkel, and pretty much any song from any era that would translate well to acoustic, and suit our voices. All ideas welcome.

Looking to do this as a side project for some paid gigs, as I'm already in another band. I'm based in the Dun Laoghaire/Blackrock area.

    PM if interested!

Jim Croce? Dadgummit that sounds great. Where you were you last year :). I'm focusing on the bass at the moment, but if you ever have any gigs lined up I'll be in the crowd. Best of luck with that!

Oink, I'm the bassist in my main band, but feel this side project could be a great outlet as well as a way to make some extra money. My plan was to have many different covers in the set, ranging from Def Leppard to Fine Young Cannibals to the Eagles, but if I could find someone else who is into Jim Croce as much as I am, I would nearly focus on forming a JC tribute act and forget the other covers. I can never find anyone in Dublin who plays JC, so maybe it's time someone did! But it all depends on the feedback I get here.
