Out of interest, what age was your bull that got aggressive? Was it all of a sudden?

much better prices to be got for limousin bulls and heifers than the same age of angus and herefords. i've seen many cases in the calf ring where there has been €100 difference between them!! plenty of easy calving limo lines out there!

Think you need to look at your cows
if you br freisan go hr
if not they can come leggy and have bad ko so go angus
limo all good but carry too much time if you in the business of milk
why not think outside box and go saler or blue
guy i buy fr bulls from mops up with saler and has waiting list for f calves the bulls make the price of aa or hr

i had a saler on the cows a few years ago , mighty calves but u could get the odd hard calving and lose a good cow handy enough
