Hey made a order on wednesday and received a email the following saying that my order had been dispatched
When I click on the tracking page it says ''Thu 06/12/2012 08:28: Your order has been scanned at the Origin Depot for export.''
I was looking at the email and it only has my house number and noting else..
Have they messed up my address???

good luck with that - I have been 4 weeks and at least 20 phone calls trying to get this sorted. I have to say the incompetence is unreal. Multiple packages have been sent and despite my telling them the replacement had the same address as the lost one - as far as I can tell nothing was done about it.

They promised me they have changed back to DPD since last Friday. I was promised a refund and 20% discount - but as we speak I am on hold as I realised my new order is trying to charge me for the free stuff I should have got, so I am trying to have that added back to my order before I place another ( it would wipe out the 20% discount ! )

Seriously sick of them now - one lass Amy was so disinterested it was unreal.

I'd get on the blower to them anyway. For what good it will do, I don't know considering the amount of disgruntled people here alone using MP.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 290 ✭✭Problem123456

Alri thanks lads, only reason I used them was because the comments on the products saying fast delivery etc :(

If I was you, in future use somewhere like bulkpowders.co.uk, some price range as MP and delivery won't take as long even though its coming from UK.

Thanks will use them in future!
I don't know if it just me but both websites look almost the same

they're quite similar alright, but ones much better than the other. There was a story in the supplements thread of a dude who's MP package got shipped abroad to Germany I think. He rang MP they sent him a new package free of charge and a few days/weeks later he got his original order.

i was ignored for ages until I went on their facebook.

they sorted it out straight away after that!

Never had a bad experience with them with DPD delivering..

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,863 ✭✭✭RobAMerc

I am absolutely sick. I got promised a refund and a 20% discount code as there is little chance my package will now arrive ( 2nd one missing in 4 weeks ). Anyway, I was promised everything had been sorted with the couriers so rather than waiting for the refund I just reordered. Guess what - the fookin delivery address in the dispatch email is bollixed again

I wrote a really snotty post on their facebook page now - seems lots of folk on there are doing likewise, this is a total PR disaster for them but feckem.

That's appalling, I mean as long as you put your own address in correctly I can't see why MP can have any excuse to fcuk it up.

Yeah mine was only one line after they upgraded the system. If you paid by PayPal open a dispute then escalate it to claim.

I used the same address I used every time before with no hassle.

What I am totally enraged about is I was assured they were no longer using the MHI crowd and that it would defo be shipped DPD as before, so I went ahead and ordered again ( pre actual refund I must admit but I thrust I will get that )

Soon as I reordered I got another MHI tracking number and the fooked up address still appearing.

I am going to ring tomorrow and cause a fukin stink and demand another refund asap.

I see facebook is lit up with people complaining about them.

Yeah it a bloody joke..you put down your address and some how they mess it up.
Tried calling them but no answer and still no reply to the email I sent almost a week ago

I have been on to them no less than 10 times now - and as I said I made the mistake of a reorder based on the assumption they will refind ( they have been very good previously so I have no doubt they will short of some serious incompetence by the CC team )

Anyway - a facebook post got a fairly quick response and saved me having to sit on hold for hrs. Lets see how that goes?

I just used it for the 1st time last week and got it in less than 3 days turnaround. I used the parcel motel as well to try and reduce the shipping for UK. But would defo use them again alright.
Hope you get sorted out alright though

I'd say you just got lucky by using parcel motel to Antrim. UK delivery seems to be okay but left to their own devices in ROI they seem to be ridiculous. Parcel motel is probably the best way to go even if more expensive.

Yeah, could be that alright, 1st time using both actually so was a nice surprise. And easier than going to collect it from an post during working hours.....

update - I got an email from them last night stating they had checked everything and my package was defo going to be delivered today. The tracking site says its out for delivery ( not for the first time ) so lets see !

Are they boxes not too big for parcel motel ?
I used PM for something else there recently though. Sent Monday collected it Wednesday morning - impressive.

I got the 2.5kg bag of hurricane xs and a box of cookies and it fit into the largest slot in the parcel motel. I hadn't even considered it at the time but worked out.

Just had my 1st order delivered and it came with the replacement order too as well as a refund for the whole lot this morning !
I now also have another lot on the way as when they agreed to refund the price I expected nothing to show up and re-ordered !

That's 3 orders for the price of 1 minus the 20% discount they gave me on the 3rd ! ( if the third shows up that is! )

I think MP to be fair to them did their level best to fix what was a royal fookup on behalf of the couriers.

I ordered before Christmas and received an email saying it was despatched just before Christmas still nothing I've been tracking the order yesterday it said delivery failed even though never any docket put in my letterbox and to be honest there has been someone here every day I emailed them yesterday I got an automated response someone looking into it. If I don't hear anything by midday tomorrow ill be hounding them!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,607 ✭✭✭sgarvan

I ordered on the 6th Jan.

Choose DPD as the delivery option, got an MHI tracking code (which as far as I know is a mail forwarder which uses An Post). THe MHI website says

Thu 10/01/2013 12:21: Your order has been scanned at the Origin Depot for export.

I logged a complaint with them that I want my delivery cost refunded as I want my items ASAP so hence why I choose a courier.

I contacted them on twitter to get a response to my call. They have told me they responded but I cant find the response.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 542 ✭✭✭ooPabsoo

Their Facebook page is absolutely full of people making complaints about orders. They seem like a joke tbh. Wouldn't even consider ordering anything off them until they sort it out.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 228 ✭✭NoHarm1994

Yeah its a joke at this stage. I only placed the order on Saturday but the website says that we would have it within 1 - 2 working days. It seems like there is a lot of people in the same boat though as well so maybe they are just severely back logged? Either way we should all be getting healthy discounts on our next orders if they want any hope of keeping everyones business!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,863 ✭✭✭RobAMerc

just as an update - I got 3 lots in the end. The first which went missing, the second which was a resend of the first and went missing and the third which I re-ordered following a full refund from them. But all 3 turned up.
What is annoying is they promised me the issue was with MHI and they said they no longer used MHI. However judging from the replies above that seems to have been a lie.

So did you end up getting 3 lots for the price of 1? :D

My order finally arrived today and was delivered from An Post I noticed on the box it was shipped from Belgium I don't know if this added to the delay. I have ordered with these before and up to now I never had any problems with them it was DPD that delivered my orders previously though! I hope this is not a contionuing trend they were in the past a good reliable company to order from.

actually better than that - I got 2 orders for free and 20% off the 3rd ( cause I complained a lot ! ). I also got a €12.50 voucher as I was due to get an electric blender free with the first orders that we no longer on offer when I ordered the third. I now of course have 2 of them already, for free ! :D

I did well out of it in the end but it was a pain trying to get it sorted.

You generally get an email response. I moaned on their facebook today about them using MHI and they asked for my order number. Then nothing happened lol

Not pushed on it taking so long as I knew the score before I bought stuff but I'll still let them know its shìt

Cheers. Got no email reply but was told on twitter the ticket is updated

Ordered on the 3rd of January, still no sign of it, just checked with the tracking number they sent in their order confirmation email(It only showed one line of my address as well), the order somehow ended up in Germany?

    Thu 10/01/2013 17:12: Consolidation - Erftstadt-Lechenich (DE) - manual entry

It's getting ridiculous at this stage, I won't be ordering from them again that's for sure.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 1,195 ✭✭✭irish son

I ordered on the 4th of Jan and no sign of it, I was worried as I've ordered off them a lot and its never taken longer than 2-3 days, at least I'm not on my own. I may contact them, I have no protein left :(

I ordered on the 30/12, got an email a few days later saying sorry for the delay and it was only despatched on the 04/1.

Also for some reason they sent my instant oats separately even though they where in stock.

Still awaiting delivery, one of the tracking numbers says it's in Athlone though so hopefully will be here on Monday, other one says Germany

To make things worse when I ordered they where doing half price bundles so I got the Kick Start bundle which listed 2.5kg of Impact whey in the description but now its changed to only 1kg so I think that's what they've sent. :(

Definetly won't be using them again after this.

After I sent a tweet to myprotein, The Protein Works sent me a direct message with a 10% off discount code.

I'll definitely be trying them out the next time I'm ordering.

I've just ordered some from The Protein Works. God knows when I'll get the one from myprotein because it's still saying 'At Origin for Depot'.

Used parcelmotel and opted for the next day delivery.
