Great stuff, I missed them last time and thought they would be in the O2 the next time they played. Delighted with this :)

you wouldn't have a link for this by any chance? the only info i'm finding online is this thread. there's nothing on fb, their own site etc.

I'll be having me some of that.

Also have tickets for both nights in Glasgow though, might sell them now as I've a lot on next year.

Is it an MCD presale or GA presale?

Not sure to be honest. It just says PRESALE 1 on ticketmaster.

delighted to see this - this will hopefully be my 4th GA gig!

Will this definitely sell out in minutes?

The standing will certainly be gone in a heartbeat. I'd imagine the rest will sell out reasonably fast, but I dunno about a few minutes.

Wondering that myself. This on sale tomorrow and Elton John on Friday is digging deep into the pockets. Only 6 days between the two gigs too.

EDIT: General sale is Friday along with most of the Marquee gigs. Ticketmaster is gonna go into meltdown!

Anyone have any idea what the presale is from tomorrow? Just says presale 1 on Ticketmaster. Not very clear really!
Don't want to miss out on tickets on Friday!:)

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 31,973 ✭✭✭✭Mars Bar

How do you qualify for pre-sale anyway?

Usually through the band's fanclub or mailing list or something. depends:)

Unfortunately it doesn't specify what the presale is from tomorrow!

I'll wait until Friday. I'll be up ordering Elton John tickets anyway. Think I'll go for seated tickets for this.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 895 ✭✭✭Mocha Joe

Guess I'll have to get involved in the mad rush on Friday. A 2nd date seems unlikely.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,539 ✭✭✭ghostdancer

as MCD/ticketmaster haven't sent an email about the presale, presumably it's only for the fanclub members...

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 275 ✭✭TopBombing

According to the Gaslight Anthem's fan forum, the crowd that run their fan club gave no indication of any pre-sale for Dublin?!

Looks like it's just a free for all in the morning then!!

Damn only seeing this now - would love to see them again :D

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,075 ✭✭✭steve_r

Just picked up two standing tickets now, delighted!:)

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 28,398 ✭✭✭✭Turtyturd

Sorted...can't wait, hopefully a second date or Belfast date is added.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 275 ✭✭TopBombing

    Well that was easy!!

Got mine bang on 9 bells but there's still standing available now.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 895 ✭✭✭Mocha Joe

Only woke up now in a panic but got standing. Chuffed.

Got mine. Very pleased I get to see them and that Ticketmaster didn't go ballistic. :)

Got five standing just there. Lady in the shop said they were almost gone though. I'd be surprised if there was any left this time tomorrow. Seating won't sell out for weeks.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,593 ✭✭✭theteal

I've just received word that there's a ticket for me :) I'll have to keep an eye out for flights

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 7,132 ✭✭✭Just Like Heaven

Yeah can still get standing now. Not too bad at all.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 31,973 ✭✭✭✭Mars Bar

I got a circle ticket, Row C Seat 25. Nice!

I didn't know you could only do one concert at a time as I had a tab open for Elton John but it wouldn't let me proceed unless I held back with the other one. Wasn't too bad coz I knew I wanted standing for EJ and went with buying the seated for GA first.

Looking for 2 standing, TM appears to be sold out

Got a standing ticket for the Monday night, going with my brother who also loves them. :D Only bought a copy of Handwritten two weeks ago and have had it on loop ever since (perfect timing!).

I missed them the last time round (somehow only found out when it sold out) so can't wait for this one!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,075 ✭✭✭lc180

Just got my tickets in the post. First time I've ever bought tickets to see a band 2 nights in a row.
VERY nearly gave up hope of an Irish date and bought a ticket for Bristol, glad I didn't!

Any idea who is supporting the tour yet??

No idea who the support is, but while I am sick of the Springsteen comparisons and feel they are a dis service to the band (with no disrespect to Bruce) I would love to see them take a page from his book and perform long gigs with no support. :D
