Did he not say that he wants to do one more match or something?

It's a shame but it's not a shock. Was some man when on form.

He wants to but physically isn't able to. There will probably be a tribute show for him some time next year.

He will always have a place in the BWA, him and Misawa both.

joking aside, the PW Draft is what exposed me to Kobashi's awesomeness and that is something I am truly thankful for. If you dont know much about Kenta its worth looking into as (especially if you are a fan of Puroresu Wrestling) it wont dissapoint.

His match Vs Samoa Joe is what alerted me to him. What a stiff-fest that was.

Also checked out a nice bit of his 90s stuff from a great japanese website which i assume is now dead. If I was to show anyone a match to turn their heads toward puro it would be Kobashi & Kikucki Vs CanAm Express. Utter perfection.

Given that he beat Cancer in the last few years and he came back to wrestle regularly again is a measure of this mans legend.

He walked away from wrestling too because if he left for another company NOAH would basicelly die as a lot of the big names in NOAH would follow him.

Heroic and honourable to the last. :(

There's a 25 year/retirement card planned for the New Year. Should be fun.

That's amazing loyalty in a business like wrestling.
