I have an old Dell that I'm upgrading. It currently has 3x256mb modules each are PC2700-333mhz. I ordered 2x512mb modules which are PC3200-400mhz from ebay and plan and removing one of the 256mb modules to fit the 2 512mb's in(so total ram about 1.5GB.

My question is if the 256mb modules are 333mhz and the 512mb modules are 400mhz will the PC clock them all at 333mhz?

    Most-likely, yes.

Oh alright, guess I'll just have to do with 333mhz until I can upgrade the slower modules. Thanks anyway!
