Pig herd number

    Hi

    I am thinking of getting some pigs, anyone know exactly what i need to get a herd number, i am planning on keeping them outside in one of those semi circular houses in an electric fenced off area wondering is that enough or do i need a proper shed for them with concrete floors etc ?

    Any help would be appreciated

    That will be fine...
    The department vet will also be looking for a good water source, vermin proof feed storage and that you hare familiar with your local vets office and how to contact them should the need arise.
    Our inspection was very informal, and our house had no solid floor either. Plenty of clean straw bed under them.
