Airport is open 24/7 364 days a year, the only limitation on how late he'll arrive home is if the crew's duty limits are exceeded, but if he's already in the air, then there's nothing that should stop him arriving into DUB.

Thanks, he's on the flight from Krakow, thats actually coming from RZE, he'son a bus there at the moment.
Updated time is 23:55, would have thought there were noise restrictions during the night.

There aren't noise restrictions; modern aircraft are not very noisy compared to those from days of old.

there are bigger airports with noise restriction curfews (i've a notion heathrow and sydney are two examples), but no such malarkey in dublin.

I've regularly landed at that hour in Dublin in the past.

Indeed no such Malarkey in Dublin, I've heard that there's a rule in Frankfurt where no flight whatsoever can leave or arrive after 11pm PERIOD. Not even flights that get delayed. Apparently it's come in since the 4th runway opened up.

London City has this rule from Saturday lunchtime to Sunday evening, a bugger if your flight is delayed, grrr.

Sydney is pre 5am ban I believe.

Remember a pilot coming on one time to explain we would be circling as we were 40 minutes early and the airport wasnt accepting aircraft for another 20 minutes.

I've landed in Dublin at 3 and 4am.

Though I've commonly heard it said that there's an outbound restriction, i.e. if your flight hasn't left the departure gate by 12am then you have to wait until 6am. That's probably chinese whispers too?

Reference to the DAA website will show you the actual scheduled arrival and departures for 24 hours ahead at any given time. There is some seasonal and daily variation, of course, but a few flights (mostly cargo services) do operate during the small hours all the year round.

I think the schedule of passenger departures and arrivals is more determined by public demand and the schedules of the various feeders (GoBus, Aircoach, Kavanagh etc.) than by noise regulations.

Accepted that various cargo flights operate at odd hours based on the last time I tracked a courier shipment which IIRC arrived from East Midlands at 4 a.m. or so.
