Hi, I just moved into new apartment and I have 2 storage heaters in my flat, one is placed in the living room the second one on the corridor. The first one is Dimplex XMC718N and the other one is UNIDARE WMX712. I moved in 3 days ago, and they are turned on but they are cold since then, I tried to change the output and input settings but doesnt work out. Could anyone help me? What should I do? I don't think that both of them are broken.
    Thank you in advance.

Are the fused spur outlets powering them switched on?

At night and in the morning do you hear a clicking noise around 10pm and 7 am I think, from the electrical distribution board?

Yes, they are switched on, I switched them off and on several times, I do hear clicking noise from the distribution board but I don't know if that's it....

When there is a clicking noise at night, do you notice if the neon light at the switch spur outlet for the storage heaters lights up? Trying to determine if th eproblem is with the contactor (clicking in the board) or at the storage heaters?

Are you renting? have you called your landlord?

Yes, I called my landlord and electrician came here to check what is going on, he said that he needed to restart storage heating in the apartment. Thanks for your help, anyway :)

I think you should hire a mechanic. He will solve your problem. The same problem happened to my heater so I called a mechanic and now it is working fine.
