Laurus LR605 - Radio OK but no TV stations

    Hi,

    My brother-in-law, a complete technophobe who doesn't 'do' internet, tells me he recently got one of these set-top boxes. It worked fine for some weeks, but now will only allow him receive channels 9 to 18, all of which are radio. Buttons 1 to 8 have no effect, nor does any attempt to use the 'channel down' arrows when you're on 9. I'm sure it's something silly on the remote control, but I'm not there and have no idea what he's done. Any ideas?

    If there's a tv/radio button on the remote try pressing it. I think it's on the bottom right of the remote.

    Thanks, Extinction, that was it. He's quite a clever chap but as far as anything technical goes, well, he can just about figure out how barbed wire works. Anyway, problem solved and thanks for your help.
