Today I went to check to see were my main lights working. On my tractor because they were not lighting in years Because first I thought I would have to rewire them. But I checked them with a multimeter and lucky enough there was power coming to them now I know it is only the bulbs .what worries me is that when I measured it again when the tractor was off and the switch was off .I was still getting a reading on the multimeter but is was lower. But is this ok or what is the problem ?? Hope to get an answer

No. You shouln't be getting a reading. How much Voltage were you measuring?
