    Hi guys,

I've always used softpoints for deer, on all 2 that I've shot!!! :) I've only started deer stalking this year and got 2 fallow bucks. Im wondering does anyone on here use or have ever used hollow points on deer, if so how do they compare to softpoints??

    Thanks in advance!!

As long as the hollow point bullets that you plan on using are designed for hunting deer they will be fine.
A lot of hollow point bullets are made for shooting varmints and targets so dont use those.

The soft points are made to expand on impact and are made for hunting. The hollow points may not expand as the soft points will , so read the carton to see what the recommdation is from the makers
