So looking for some advice, i'm going to build a house in the next year and i'm wondering what setup you would go for with regards a media hub to centrally transmit to numerous tvs.

I have a NAS which transmits to my Wii, laptop and tablet currently for media consumption but what i like in a house is a central computer/NAS setup with a boxee/XBMC interface transmitting to numerous tvs/tablets/laptops around the house in the most financially efficient way possible. Would it be possible to run hdmi cables with repeaters to the numerous tvs in the house (say 3)?

What system do you/would you have?

You could get some of those 50 euro android sticks that plug into your TV and use the new xbmc beta that has an android version.

Then use MYSQL to share the database throughout each device which will let you continue watching a show where you left it off on one device on another aswell as many more features.
