    Recommended quality fixie crankset

Looking for something decent that I can get readily replaceable off the shelf chain rings if I need to change the ratios. 44T to 46T ish

    SH would do.

    Cheers.

    + 1.

I have a set of Stronglight cranks with 20K miles on them on a singlespeed. Have them 4 years. After going through a few cheap chainrings I got a Surly 44t steel chainring and have about 10K miles on that with no sign of wear..

However the Surly rings are nearly as dear as the cranks!!

Cheers, they don't look to bad either.

Stronglight made some nice chainsets in the 70's

What bottom bracket set would you recommend?.

    70's Reynolds 531db Raleigh / Carlton ?
