Home heating via smartphone

    Hi, i'm looking for some kind of system to install to activate our oil heating via app/sms. we live in a finished home so running cables is a no no. is there such a system that can be operated over wifi or is it only operational over sms? No fixed landline in the house also. If the system could also be used for future projects like lighting and powor it would be cool. Thanks in advance all.

    Climote has a built in thermostat within the unit and you can adjust times & temperature from your phone. It has a downloadable app to use on your phone. You can also see what the temperature actually is in your home.

    Cheaper on the market is a simple on/off switch with a SIM card. These can be purchased from any electrical wholesaler.

    Checked out that site and they are quite expensive. 400 quid. But it you go through electric ireland site they are 100 quid cheaper. Plus the 36 a year. Expensive stuff,hoping there was something less expensive
