Strange Crashes

    Has anyone ever had a laptop crash and leave the screen like the photos below. It's a recently bought (but was used stock) Fujitsu Lifebook AH530, Pentium P6200, 4GB RAM, 500GB HDD, Windows 7 Home Premium 64bit (SP1). If I had bough it in a bricks and mortar shop for full price, I'd bring it back ,but seeing as I wouldn't be able to afford anything else for the price I paid for this (and it's due to be a Christmas present) I'll probably have to do a DIY job.

    So far I've run Memtest86 for 3 passes with no problem, tried different RAM (still crashed and the laptop whose RAM I swapped worked fine) and most recently reinstalled Windows. The reinstallation seemed to have sorted it, although it just crashed on me, dashing my hopes. I haven't found any pattern to the crashes, it can go 2-3 hours without crashing or crash when idle after 2 minutes.

    If the problem is terminal, how could I find out exactly how old it is (for the sake of the manufacturers warranty)?

    Found the answer to this. Entered serial number on Fujitsu site and it told me when the warranty is up.
