    Well boardsies,

Hoping to get law in UCC (points deciding) or UL..

What I'm wondering is which one is a better course?

Is there anyone else stuck between two minds?

    Thanksbiggrin.png

I wouldn't have a clue about specifically law but I think you're better off picking whatever college you prefer, taking the degree out of the equation. So look at its societies, social life etc. as I'd say they both offer similar standard law degrees. You'd want to be having a good social life so don't forget about it! :D

    Thanks Kingcobra,

Just wondering that's all, there's a big difference in points (I know it's supply and demand) but you know there must be a difference in course quality??

Don't worry I won't forget about getting hammered I mean socialising in college!

Well I have no interest in Law so I wouldn't know much at all about it so I'll leave the answers to someone else :P
But don't forget you wouldn't want to be going to a place full of stuck up f@!*%#s rather than going somewhere that is great craic and you'd love going in there everyday. I don't have a clue what UCC and UL are like either so I guess I'm no help now! :D

I don't know very much about UL or it's Law course, but I have heard a bit from people who did the UCC one. It's a fairly highly regarded degree, and it's quite flexible in that you can take very many electives with it, because I know nothing about UL I can't really compare the quality of the 2, but I know that UCC is fairly good! One thing I'd keep in mind is that if you're hoping to progress to the traditional Law careers such as Barrister or Solicitor, it'll make no difference what course you do as it's almost impossible to get a job after it, but obviously there are a huge range of other jobs you can get from a Law degree so don't let that put you off!
