    Hi

Just wondering who has stayed in one of the rooms on South Campus before? What are they like? It might be a stupid question but if your staying there is there a certain time you have to be back in your room by? A friend of mine was saying you can't really stay in them if your going out in Maynooth because they lock the gate/door at a certain time :confused:

Also, how strict are they with who is staying in the room? I don't mean having a party in it or anything :p I just mean if you were renting a room for the night and somebody else decided to stay there too is it an issue? Myself and another friend are thinking of booking a room for a night when we are going out in Maynooth as it works out cheaper than a taxi but we have a third friend who is still undecided! Thanks in advance for any info :)

never stayed myself, but someone I know did, and they said you get a swipe card which opens the door for you. they went back after pub closing time too.
don't know if there's a security guard there checking who's going back, but the person i know didn't mention it, maybe someone else can say for definite though...

There is, I stayed there last year. After midnight a security guard only lets in people that are actually renting the room. And he is gone after I think 2am.. unless they changed it this year..

I have some hilarious stories about staying on south campus. It's grand. Nothing really makes any sense but it's warm and comfortable.

He has a list of names and as far as I can remember he asked me for ID (but I'm not 100% sure)
