hi we have just submitted these plans to council an think there will be no problems getting them passed.we live in the north.i have been reading the board for quite a a while an have gained great knowledge. i would love a bit of advice on the best, efficient and cheapest!!! way to heat the house. at the minute we have a supply of timber from wife's business so a wood burner would be prob be best idea but could that connect to underfloor heating. the sitting room, lobby and part of kitchen are open to the height of roof. what steps can be taken to ensure this area does not loose heat. will the skylight windows loose heat. there is a lot of glass in house, would triple glaze be best option.this is the first house i have built, not sure if we contracting it out or self-build yet. any advice negative or positive will be taken on board. thanks
