I like him on mock the week but as a standup comedian he is pretty boring.

He used to be funny, but now he tries to hard

Yeah. At the risk of sounding like a hipster I prefer his older stuff.

Lost all respect after his joke about Jordan's son.

He can be quite funny the odd time - but overall I hate his lazy, desperate and attention seeking style of comedy.

Oh and his sketch show was painfully unfunny.

I like Frankie, if you ever read any of his books you get a real insight into his way of thinking. People take him way to seriously and he feeds on that.

Haven't seen that much of him lately. He used to be funny sometimes on Mock the Week

I wouldn't be surprised if he's become like a lot of those other edgy for the sake of it comedians. With his head planted firmly up his own arse.

There is a book on him somewhere around here. Comedy is subjective. I find him funny. He makes me cringe with the close to the bone stuff. The joke about Jordan's son wasn't one of his best moments.

And he isn't Ed Byrne which is a massive plus.

    Celebs forum.

    Stand up comedy forum.

These are both forums which exist to discuss the merits of Mr. Boyle. Or complete and total lack of merits.
