Cyclists think they own the road!

    There are numerous issues I have with cyclists but the main one is the use of cycle lanes or lack of. Why do many of them cycle down the road with a cycle track right next to them. Next is the cycling 2 and 3 abreast, which I dont have a problem with. The problem is not going into single file when traffic is building up. I DO actually do a bit of cycling myself so I have experience on both sides. Your thoughts and reactions please.....

    Cyclists don't have to use cycle lanes and don't have to cycle single file.

    In before the lock......

    Because there is no obligation to use a cycle track......

    ....plus most of them are crap (with some notable exceptions)

    Cycling two abreast is a self-prservation measure

    This is the Cycling forum, not the Rant About Cyclists forum.

    Thread locked since these topics have been discussed ad naseurm before.
