Just bought a new motor, and was wondering about how they (dealer) do the log book, your man said they do it on the computer instead of sending off the book. Question really is does this make it any faster than the way of posting it off or will I still be waiting weeks for the owner transfer? Cheers for any info.

I bought a car off a dealer 3 months ago he done the log book on line that day still took a week and a half 6 working days for the log book to come out. So it's a bit faster.

It is faster that way. The actual change of ownership is pretty much instant and you should have the new book in about 4 working days.
