Not saying he is guilty but I hope that every single last one of these white collared scum are caught and that the victims get their legal justice.

Why are you sad about it? He's being taken on suspicion. You'd be surprised how often false rape claims are made.

Rape and sexual assault aren't funny obviously, but I still chuckled a bit due to it being described as "historic".

Its too early for him. Any former victims will wait until he is dead of dying before dialling 999 to talk about it.

Well whos next eh? I loved this show part of my childhood television favourites:(
if it is true he will probably pay his bail off without so much as a fart-anyone who can afford to live in wilmslow can afford bigass bail, they all have massive solid gates there to let people know theyre rich and have lots of stuff worth nicking.
    <mod snip> too I hear...
    no way,seriously?

I dont know if this man is innocent or guility. But I can smell a big spin from BBC after how they handled the whole Jimmy Saville thing.

You'd be surprised how often people are raped.

Usually be people in power who think they can get away with it.

If one good thing has come out of all this, it is that it is dispelling the myth that people get raped by scumbags down a dark alleyway. Alot of rapes occur by people in prominent poweful positions who pick on weak vulnerable people. And then no-one believes them. The person thinks no-one will believe them.

Look at the thread that was on here a while ' A lad was accused in my town, but he didnt - he's from a good family, she wasnt', he's hardly going to pick on a girl from a 'good family' who'll have a lot of support and people backingher up is he? He's going to go after the girl from a bad family who wont have a lot of people to support her and then he'll get away with it.

These are the true scumbags, and thank god the tide is turning so these people dont get away with it anymore.

Quick fact: The guy mentioned in the OP, Stuart Hall, was a football commentator and he was the one who coined the phrase "The beautiful game"

He was a legend in fairness and always had a really quirky way of commentating which was always very funny, but when you hear something like this about the guy it just makes you feel bad about ever liking him. That might sound weird but it's just how I feel . Btw does anyone remember another commentator called Gerald Sinstadt? It is goin back a few years now but I seem to remember he was arrested for indecent exposure after being caught tuggin himself on his own in the Cinema, then of course there was something about Frank Bough and now Rolf Harris has been questioned!! It is shocking and very sad but can you imagine how it must feel for all the innocent victims of this lot? I mean I feel bad for even liking their shows or their commentary style or whatever but it is unfathomable to me how they must coping with it! Poor souls.

I was very disappointed to hear this. I used to love him on It's a Knockout and doing the Football Reports.

    Oh well.

Okay, can we lay off naming other people unless you have a credible news source to back it up?

With all these allegations coming out, I'm afraid that one day I'm gonna read that you and your friends really did massacre all those people in Vietnam ...
