Tickets have already been allocated. Each faculty got a certain allocation of tickets and you had to apply to them on Tuesday. The list was then sent to the US embassy. Cant get tickets any more.

Thanks for that. Was an email sent out to students about this? I didn't receive anything :(

I'm not 100% sure but I think only certain faculties were allocated tickets.

Yeah, im guessing not every faculty were allocated tickets for students. The Engineers got an email on Tuesday, seems that 28 places for students were made available (could of been 14).

Managed to get one, should be interesting.

Science were allocated 40 tickets between the various schools and centres. Heads of school were to nominate staff/students. The faculty office took names of students who emailed by lunch in case the embassy released extra seats. (the postgrads were emailed about it at least, not sure about the undergrad list)
