    Are you a mother?

If so, I'd expect them to be a lot more, well, caring?

You're pretty screwed without a receipt.

Even with their club card I purchased on.

Absolutely correct, no receipt so no proof. You would think people wouldn't have the neck to get refunds on stock they stole but you'd be wrong. They may offer a credit note, but they are not obliged to give you anything. The clubcard doesn't change anything, shops are not able to tell what they have been used on. A credit or debit card statement if you used one could help, but again its up to them and it only gives a total.

you will be grand if all the tags are on it will be in the system as sold, make a scene and they will help you just to get rid of you.

Even if you do have a reciept they don't have to give you a cash refund. Most you'll get without one is a credit not.

Threaten to set yourself on fire if they don't give you a full cash refund,

    works 40% of the time,

    everytime.

Afaik it may depend on why you're bringing them back. If they're faulty in some way then once you can show proof of purchase (receipt or something like credit card bill, not your club card) they should offer a refund as one possible remedy. If theres nothing wrong with the goods however then regardless of receipt they don't have to give a refund

    Open to correction by others...,
