See they are having auction this sat. Think it will be like a junk sale as their used stock has always been pretty bad ! Anyone know have they got someone to take over showrooms ? Would be good place for Audi showroom ! Thought it was strange how they gave up Toyota but didn't go into liquidation and didn't have to give up the fancy showrooms do finances can't be that. Bad !

They had one of these about two years back, Rubbish cars were sold for rubbish prices and anything that was any good was unsold ;)

I pass the place nearly everyday, there is nothing decent left there anymore. There are no bargins at auctions these days.

Rumours going around about 12 months ago was that the local VAG dealer had his eye on the site for Audi as the showrooms were only build just before the boom ended. He has since gained the Skoda and Seat dealerships too and already has VW and Merc so his existing site is not big enough with no room to expand. It would make sense to move at least one of the premium brands there.

Wouldn't be surprised if blackwater were behind it they seem to have the Midas touch can't believe they are getting away with not building new showrooms yet in cork for Audi though ! Why didn't hogans just let on they were planning to do same in the future !! Where are Lyons selling jaguar and land rover now they have the franchises ?

Hogans lost Audi but gained Skoda and Seat along with existing VW and MB. Lyons are selling Jaguar/Land Rover from their existing Ford/Volvo premises.

Ya they are still renting off kevin o learys im sure they will have to build at some stage? Think lyons are selling all makes on the one site? i know volvo was in an industrial unti beside Wicks terrible spot if you ask me, havent been in limerick in a good while

Lyons built a seperate showroom for Volvo right next to their existing Ford dealership, opposite the furniture store.

Wonder why singland didnt take on the jaguar and land rover franchise ( again) now that land rover sales aren't too bad now seems a waste selling a few s/ hand cars from their lge showrooms . They always seemed to have loads of new land rovers ex stk during boom yrs but didn't sell a whole lot

    Sign is finally up........AutoXpress.
Seems to be all UK imports from the slightly higher end of the market.
Let's hope there are plenty of buyers with cash to spend.
It looks like someone has spent a good deal of money up front just to buy in stock.
