    Anyone ever get cattle killed up north? What factories are best? Ive a load of bullocks coming fit before christmas and was thinking of getting quotes off some northern factories for the craic.

    i killed a bull a month ago in a small but new factory in west meath called tmc meats i got a pound flat for him , was very happy with price

    Westmeath is midlands though. Would imagine op meant north of border. Where was tmc meats based. Never heard of it but would be local to me if westmeath.

    Would have to have export testing in order for selling up north.
    With euro so weak would imagine you would do well. Journal quotes northern price v south near back of paper

    One possible thing that you might be exposing yourself to is currency fluctuation on stg/euro.

    HMMMMM wonder would it be worth opening a bank ac up there as well;) Maybe buy a tractor up there with the beef money?

    If the seat's wet, sit on yer hat, a cool head is better than a wet ar5e.
