Removing walls

Hi everyone, would really appreciate some help and advice. I am trying to remodel a house. I would like to knock though the two walls beside the fireplace (but leave the fireplace which will have an elec fire) into the room behind. Can anyone tell me if this is possible? And a rough estimate of what it might cost?

    Thank you

Its possible, however engage the services of a structural engineer first, the walls may or may not be load bearing and therefore additional structural works may be required. A structural engineer can advise on inspection of the property.
