Looking for a Solicitor

Now, before I just get a couple of links to lawlibrary.ie or told to "find a solicitor" ...

I have previously tried looking through lawlibrary and/or used google and the yellow pages to find a solicitor, and been VERY unhappy with the service I received.

Consequently, I want to think of this as a tender advertisement instead ... I am looking for a solicitor that is willing to work with me and communicate with me on an ongoing basis (not ignore me) with respect to divorce proceedings. If you do not think you can liaise with your client in a timely manner by email, then we would not be a good match. (I don't expect instant responses ... but my last solicitor thought "every 3 months" was appropriate. It is not.)

I am currently living in Westmeath, but the divorce papers have already been filed in Dublin - thus the solicitor would have to be willing to work in the Dublin courts (one previous solicitor I contacted suggested that they were unwilling to do this, which is why I raise this as an issue).

I will provide additional information if there are any individuals on here who would be willing to act on my instructions.

Please PM me if you want more information.

I would think you'd be very disappointed with the solicitors found via the law library - what with them all being barristers.

Thread closed. OP try using a phone book, google or strolling down your main street.
