    Requirements:

High spec - money no object.
    Good graphics.

What would you top choice be for a small screen laptop

    1) With DVD. I know there are very few to choose from, but really would like DVD.

    2) No DVD

13 Inch Macbook Pro, and you can Dualboot into Windows 7.

Frankly, it's one of the best engineered units you're going to find with a drive. Magnetic Charger. Mother****ing ball-bearings on the USB ports. It's the little things. Lots of little things.

You can also look at the Dell XPS or Alienware series. Im surprised they still do business with Nvidia after it was a Nvidia cock-up that nearly ruined the XPS13's reputation forever, but hey, they come with Nvidia graphics. Configured as low as €989 or in excess of €3000, the MX14 seems like the other omgwtf pick. This is a € 3,075.47 config, with some extras I feel are worthwhile considerations (3 yr ADH, Lowjack, Perofrmance MX mouse)

I mean, when an OP tells me money is no obstacle, I take it serious. You could do a more expensive build if you want to reconfigure the hard drives but thats the best choice, I don't bother much with RAID I think its a bunch of Hooey; you'll feel plenty spiffy running an OS SSD and a storage 7200 drive.

    Thanks Overheal.

Is this graphic card a bad one as well?

I remember a disastrous Dell Lattitude I had years ago with an Nvidia nightmare graphics card in it.

630M Overview, Technical layout, and Framerate performance lists:

    http://www.notebookcheck.net/NVIDIA-GeForce-GT-630M.63761.0.html

It really depends on the titles you want to play, and its easy enough to get a feel for it based on the games given engine. WoW for example is an old DX9-based engine that has been patched to death, while Guild wars 2 won't want to play on anything but base settings. Its not the type of card I'd look for when money is objective and graphics are a heavy consideration. In another year or two you'd struggle to find new titles that will run well on it at all, which would be a waste of the machine's i7. The Alienware I specced is obscenely pricey, but the type of machine that would run games some time into 2020.

My vote goes for the Inferno from pcspecialist.co.uk . I don't own one yet but I'll definitely get one in the new year. The nVidia 650 should be good enough for 720p gaming once you don't go too mental with the settings. Its 11.6 inch and pretty light too. Waaaay cheaper than that alienware.
