we got a dog bed in Dunnes about 2 yrs ago and its just basically a fluffy pillowcase with zipper and a normal sized pillow inside. would love to get another as this one has been through the wash so often now it getting bit tired looking. anyone know where we might be able to find similar? their so handy to keep washed, just remove the cover and throw in machine

I faced this problem, got very p!ssed off and decided in improvise - make one yourself! Zips are really cheap, as are pillow cases, bit of sewing and you have a brand new cover. Even better is that you can make a few while you are at it and have some spare. If you wanted to be really creative, you could buy some fabric and make your own pillow case too.

I was in Dunnes in the Square during the week and they had quite a few different types of dog bed out, on sale. One of them was similar to what you're describing...
