my partner is on carers leave since feb 2012. First application was for 52 weeks(total allowed is 104 weeks). Want to continue same for next year also and be on leave for the next 52 weeks.

Wanted to know if I need to submit again an application form for Carers Benefit (CARB1) or just a letter is enough?
Made a call to Carer's Benefit section and the person answered was not sure about that.

I am planning to send a letter to Carers benefit Section.

Just to know if anybody got the right information?

It appears you are talking about caters benefit. I just got it myself and a letter from you employer will be enough. You need to give the dept 4 weeks notice of your intention to continue on carers benefit.

    Hope that helps
