Need a piece of exhaust pipe

Hi, I need a piece of metal tube around around 2" thick for a forge im making, i was thinking a piece of exhaust pipe would be perfect, if anyone had something that they would give away that would be ideal. regards, Rowan

Ask exhaust fitters, they might let you take some of the old exhausts

Yea i did think of that, i rang a couple and they didnt seem to keen, i might try a couple more, one said to come up and speak to the manager in person so might be worth a shot.

Got some steel tubing from a builder, bit heavier than i wanted but it should do the job, thanks for the help.
