    Hi lads,

I have multiple documents on a memory stick for college; they're a mix of Powerpoint and pdf files. Is there any way of searching all of these documents at once?

The os is Windows 7 and Microsoft Office 2010 is on the computer if that matters.

    All the best
    Pat

Not sure how successfully Windows Explorer will search pdf documents, but if you want to search the content of files and not just the file names, in Windows Explorer go to Tools > Folder Options and on the search tab select "Always search file names and contents". Save, then go back out, select the memory stick drive name where it shows all contents and run the search.

Search for words you know to be in the pdfs to test if this works.
