hi all, had a good day with the horses today + had my final a/c exam so wanna treat myself to a watch. max budget of about 200.

Been looking online and some of the following look good. I have had a seiko watch for years that the aul fellow game me but it is loosing time.

open to suggestions and i am not really a brand snob but i like the seiko and wouldnt have minded to stick with it. i have found the following. what is your opinion on the following. I am looking for a metal strap ideally(but can be swayed) and something you can wear all the time, at work with a shirt/suit, night out, day in the pub etc everyday watch

There are loads of Seikos to choose from in your budget. They're a great brand, so it's really down to personal preference.

thanks for all the posts lads. been online every night looking to see what available. my budget seems to be going up every evening which i presume it is something that happens to most people. now i am thinking of taking a huge leap and getting the watch that i have always wanted since i saw it posted here at the start of the year.

right after totally cowarding out. think i might get the accurist watch. was showing the watch to my brother and he said i want mental to pay so much for a watch i could lose. after thinking for a few minuste i have chickened out. i think i might start off small and get the accurist watch i posted. get used to wearing a watch again as didnt wear the seiko i had for a good while as it was losing 3-4min every day and it was wrecking my head.

sry for making such an anti climax thread. wish i had the cojones to follow through but i am hoping to go travelling next year and the money is more important

I'd be inclined to pay that tiny bit extra and get one of the cheaper Seiko ones. I haven't owned an Accurist in a long time, but I really don't think you'll find better value for money than the Seiko. Have a good look on Amazon.

Sorry lads. Forgot to come back. Got the attached Accurist for £65 with Amazon. Quite happy with it but a bit bigger than I though. Getting used to wearing it at this stage which I am happy with.

Very handy instead of having to take the phone out every time

Thanks for the input guys. Kinda went off in my own tangent in the end as wasn't committed fully to spending the budget on something more high end
