RTE Player and Adobe Flash

Hi I have just bought a Samsung Galaxy Tab2 7 and went to look at something on RTE Player to discover I must have Adobe Flash, but Adobe wont download to this tablet anymore. Does anyone know if there is any other Flash I can download. Having Googled it I see there is a way to install Adobe but I'm afraid I will mess up the whole tablet if something goes wrong. Has anyone any suggestions please. Thank you.

Just looking at the link and see that it was posted 2010 but I think August this year Adobe withdrew its flash player from tablets like Nexus and Galaxy Tab. There are more convoluted directions on youtube etc so I wonder if it could be as straight forward as this link.

I had found those workarounds before too and they worked too in some cases, but a lot of them had dead links in the descriptions.

I only found the link in my previous post today and could not believe how straight forward it was.

Support for flash has been dropped in JellyBean Android, is the tablet on JellyBean? If so check out the Android forum for the link to download the flash APK, XDA developers should have it too.

If you are running ICS then the stock browser will work, all you need to do is make sure you have flash installed. If you don't have flash you will need to side load it, which basically means download the .APK file to your tablet and execute it to install flash.
You can download flash directly from the Macromedia website: http://download.macromedia.com/pub/flashplayer/installers/archive/android/11.1.115.27/install_flash_player_ics.apk

Internet Connection here is dodgy and sometimes Tablet times out loading normal pages so perhaps that could be a problem.

I have that apk downloaded and I can get the ads to work but the main programme doesn't start for me.

I'm using flash player version 11.1.115.27 on Android version 4.1.1. Can someone let me know a version they have working?

Also has anyone on Vodafone got this working although in fairness I think this is unlikely to be the problem.
