Bass electricss are the same as guitar electricss. I'm nowhere near tullamore, so I can't help. Find somebody who understands simple circuits and owns a soldering iron and a Philips screwdriver.

Or have a go yourself. This stuff is not complicated. Even if you cock it up, its simple to dismantle and go again.

What's the problem with the bass?

    Hi

Id say it is a simple fix but Im just afraid to go for it myself, its fairly expensive
and me and electrics don't mix well.
Plug into amp and there's a high pitched weez.
Its not the amp or lead as I plugged my other bass in and no issue.

    Thanks for reply btw
