    Maybe they are targeting the 'felt spec loving farmer niche market.
    The ad campaign slogan would run something like;
    "She's no show pony,but she'll take a full round bale."

    That wing detail is comical, the Hofmeister kink is all wrong, proportions are all over the place, bring back Bangle, seriously.

    Has the suspension on the entire left side just collapsed? Can't see many of them selling in Ireland with the amount of speed-bumps and potholes we have here! ;)

    Bangle's work was well under rated. Some of the stuff BMW have been putting out since he left has been simply hideous.

    I know it's deeply unfashionable on Boards to like any new BMW design but I like it. The current 3 series does nothing for me but that looks interesting and practical at the same time - something the 316 fails to do.

    Eh not really. Serious case of BMW fanboyism here if anything. This is hideous however. I did spot BMW Irelands new White 5 Series GT press car last week. The first one I have seen that i have liked.

    Didn't he design the last gen 5 and 6 series? I think they are both awesome looking cars. The new 5 series in particular is boring in comparison. BMW took a bit of a risk with those potentially divisive designs which was great to see. Modern day car designs are a bit bland.

    That 3 series GT looks absolutely tragic though. Wtf are they thinking?

    It reminds me of a Hyundai Elantra hatchback. That yoke is awful looking.

    I'm the first one to admit that I don't like the BMW image and all the negative connotations attached to their drivers but damn they make good looking estates these days. Please BM give up on this awful muck and do a CLS shooting brake instead.
