    Looks like SSD lifespan woes are going to be a thing of the past and the early adoption crowd. Shame that I have so many things that use the stuff..

    The discovery isn't practical yet though: it requires baking the flash memory as it gets worn out. Self-heating drives are probably on the drawing board but nowhere near prototype. At least there is a way to deal with the problem though.
