Cheap MP3 player

    Hi,

A relative wanted to be able to play her mp3s in her new car. Simple enough I though, drag the mp3s to a usb thumb drive and plug it into the car stereo. I was shocked to find that despite it being a new car there is no usb port. The only options are:
    iPod port
    Aux in
As I have objections to buying Apple products I recokon the only option is get a cheap mp3 player and use the aux-in. My problem is that the cheapest mp3 players seem to be of the iPod shuffle style, ie no screen or a screen that simply scrolls one line of characters giving details of the current track, what I want is a simple screen (black and white is fine) that can display a directory menu so that you can navigate around your music easily from one album or playlist to another. So can anyone recommend such a player ? I'm basically looking for a glorified thumb drive with a navigation screen as the car stereo navigation functions will be unavailable.

    Thanks,

    Usjes.
