    Hi,

I'll be arriving into Dublin city centre tomorrow and need to get out to Roebuck Rd/Ardilea in Clonskeagh. I've looked at the DublinBus map and have found that only the no.17 (Blackrock Rail Station - Rialto) stops there.

Is there another bus that serves that area? Or would I need to get two buses to get there from the city centre?

The DublinBus website is pretty unhelpful (either that or I'm useless at navigating it) and so any information would be greatly appreciated! :D

Route 11 to the junction of Goatstown Road and Mount Anville Road and then a 10 minute walk along Mount Anville Road would be the closest option.

Lilypool, lxf is correct, however you are better off decamping at the Stop after Clonskeagh Mosque (Stop 862),then it's a direct flat walk along Roebuck Road itself, with St Kilians German School on your left, then Roebuck Castle estate with Ardilea almost directly opposite it.

There may be a slim chance of a European style transfer with a Blackrock bound 17 at either stop 861 or 862,but in reality it's unlikely.

Men, it has been well said, think in herds; it will be seen that they go mad in herds, while they only recover their senses slowly, and one by one.
