Hey guys, I'm currently using a G&G l85 with a 11.1lipo but I find the trigger response and ROF is still quite slow.

I'm not too fussed on the ROF as I use 30 round mags & generally single shot with the AEG, but it would be nice to see it fire a tiny bit faster.

Would I be better sticking a high speed motor or a high torque motor into the AEG & same again with the gears inside it.

Hwya. I use 11.1s in all my guns what could be the problem is your trigger contacts could be blackend. It may have a microswitch having not opend one i wouldnt be familiar with their internals byt in a king arms m4 i had with a maurui switch after a long period of playing with it (about 200000 rounds) it did similar problem. How long you been running the gun on a lipo? It may be the issue by right you should have a mosfet to protect the switch. I could be wrong but it sould likely

Its always had a fairly slow rate of fire, specially compared to my VFC scar. I'll check the trigger contacts though just to be sure.

I'm planning on putting the Extreme fire mosfet into the AEG after christmas though.

It could be a high torque motor but thatd give it snappy trigger responce have you owned the gun long?

just under 2 years, but I havnt really played much since I got it as things kept coming up. I'd be lucking in saying I got to play every few months during this time.

I need to swap the spring out too as it chrono'd in tallaght CQB at 240fps

G&G motor's are known to be their weak point and is probably on the way out espicially if a 11.1 lipo is used.
If your into your semi shot mainly , I say replace motor with a really good high torque motor "aip 4000 , guarder infinate, element high torque, X-tech high torque" to name a few and see if that give's you the trigger snappy ness your after, plus no harm to give your gearbox a once over "shim, re-grease and replace any parts that show any wear maybe" but more cost effective would be change motor to high torque and see if that gives you the trigger response your after.

Plus that mosfet you mention will also help the aeg perform better with trigger response also.

I'm no expert on them but just a suggestion for you.

    DP ;)

Yeah I'm gonna stick some new gears and a motor into the AEG.

I'll get that mosfet when I get a chance after christmas, unless i end up somehow getting one for christmas, lol,
