POS software

Hi

Does anybody know if its possible to get POS software for a regular PC?

Basically looking to

-Add products to the s/w
-Add products to the basket (what customer wants)
-Generate an invoice
-Print the invoice

Does such a thing exist? It doesn't need to be integrated or have stock management etc..

Hi Compton I have dealt in this area

It depends what you want to do ,as an example if you want to link to Quickbooks or Sage then Accupos is a great fit .If you want to simply create invoices,it will allow you make the sale to a account or cash sale ,if its to an account ,once the end of day totals are transferred the invoice is automatically created .

There are lots of programs that do this but beware support is a key issue ,and linking to websites can be a major pain
