Tricky Lean-To Roof / Valley Design

    Hi all,

Looking for a bit of advice.
I have an old house with an almost completely enclosed back yard. At the back of the yard is a 10' high wall with a bank behind it. (Drawing attached).
I'm trying to put a perspex roof on the yard to use it for storage and semi-outdoor use.
Given that the yard is surrounded on three sides, I'm looking to put in a lean-to roof around what's already there.
I've built a basic lean-to extension before and am familiar with the normal design with roof joists sitting on a timber plate on each wall.
This is a bit more tricky as (I think) I want to form a valley at the low end of the roof to avoid having to create an additional wall for no good reason.

I've never seen a valley design like this and am wondering whether it will work and if there's any tricks to making the valley trouble-free.

Any roofing gurus out there - I'd appreciate any help you could give.

what is the distance from the back wall of the house to the wall at the bank? Also the width of the yard?

    Both are about 12' .

Doing a bit of parallel research, I have come across the term Parapet Gutters and think that could be the solution. Just need to work out the details.

    Cheers

Thanks NorthWest - this was what I was thinking as the first option, but am trying to avoid building that wall - even a fabricated wall.
It's just so tempting to use the three walls that are there and avoid any additional construction.
It's effectively a shed, so can take a little bit of risk for the sake of costs.

    Many thanks again!
