How did she make it? Her eyes are so far apart they look like they are going to fall off her face!

She has the body of a 12 year old boy.

Good for hanging clothes on I suppose.

Yeah, 12 year old boys are fierce handy for that.

When I was in London 18 years ago there was a bus stop across the road from where I was living that had an ad for Eternity (could be a different fragrance) which was basically just her face. Kate Moss' eyes would just follow you wherever you went. I often thought of stealing it. She is/was beautiful.

It's all very subjective I know

    But you're wrong :-)

She has that attractive Junkie look that was in at the time.

Super models always look a bit weird!

Cause they're for hanging clothes on.

Eyes far apart are a model feature actually and are very attractive.

Funny, I'd associate it more with people who were malnourished in childhood.

Is that a fact? I thought attractiveness was subjective.

It is my opinion. Also Nadine Coyle who has the same look is beautiful. It has nothing to do with being malnourished in childhood.

I'm gonna say it because sooner or later someone will. The fashion industry is dominated disproportionately by gay male designers who prefer androgynous looking women with no female curves and the bodies of a teen boy.
Why women buy into this, I have no idea, but since it's not exactly top of the list of the many things about women I don't understand, I generally leave it there and go on about my day.
But the OP is right. I don't find Kate Moss attractive, and I suspect that the majority of straight males don't find her as attractive as glamour models or even just well-fed, naturally curvy pretty ladies walking about the street.

I don't know anyone who buys into the beauty ideals promoted by the fashion industry.

I don't think Kate Moss is a particularly attractive woman, but I don't think many supermodels are at all.

You probably don't, Shins. Chances are your pals are smart people. But yet the fashion industry is worth many billions annually, and makes its money largely by producing apparel for half-nothing in East Asia and then selling it at an enormous mark-up to Europeans, Americans and other relatively wealthy aspirants. Their way of legitimising this mark-up is branding. The branding is built in no small part on the celebrity of supermodels. So while your mates don't buy into it, and fair play to them for seeing through it, plenty of people are buying into it, literally.

The first lady jackie kennedy eyes were really far apart, she was a ride though. I don't usually notice how far apart peoples eyes are, who cares!!

Likewise I don't think models are attractive, I think they are models because there is something unusual or unique about them.

    Naomi Campbell was hot though...

Without all the make up she is plain enough, not many natural beauties around.

Once upon a time, someone decided Kate Moss would be a model, got the newspapers and magazines to print her photo and hey presto!

Yeah, I think they are chosen because they stand out and have an unusual look. Models are generally not your run of the mill pretty girl. They tend to have a more odd look.

I think Naomi Campbell was quite beautiful too though. Cindy Crawford was pretty in her day too. I think the Victoria's Secrets models are often far more beautiful though than the super skinny ones. I think Adriana Lima is gorgeous.

    This, to be honest.

And models have figures which show off the clothes as objects of art, their own beauty is a secondary requisite. It reminds me of Manolo Blahnik's shoehorns. They look like this -

    Manolo-Blahnik-Shoehorn_F20264D4.jpg

    - because that's what he considers to be the perfect line for a shoe. Notice how little it resembles an actual foot. He has, on occasion, actually complained about how he can never quite achieve that line with real shoes, try as he might, because of those goshdarned pesky feet. Imagine putting down a thousand dollars for a pair of shoes that pretty much resent you for harshing their buzz.

Models are chosen to complement the clothes, to be striking, rather than beautiful. Moss isn't, IMHO, more beautiful than somebody like Sofia Vergara, but she brings lot of straight edges that won't interrupt the line of somebody's minimalist showpiece, and she gets to be a supermodel because she was the poster child of a particular aesthetic generation in the industry, once upon a time.

Nadine is the best looking in Girls Aloud, most of their fans seem to think so anyway.

She made it by fulfilling certain criteria, as with most models.

Highly symmetrical face, single tone skin, low bmi.
Indicators of healthy genes which stopped growing at a very exact time....got their job done early.
Babyish characteristics are associated with such faces. Bigger eye ratio, smaller nose, high cheek bones.

I think we're preprogammed to find these shape combinations attractive.

Shes probably amazingly pretty and with a girlish sexual radiance if you see her in real life.
    Young characteristics = fertile, + priority = reproduce........= dopamine.

She seems to like the limelight just a little too much.
That said Id be on her quicker than Saville. Fine piece of ass. (superficial I know)

    Jennifer Ellison too.
And Kerry Katona (slim model option) too.
    And Holly Willoghby too.

right im off to have a .....sleep.
