Google-Maps Streetview directions

Hi,

Would anyone here know why my Streetview on Google Maps is missing the blue navigating line stating which street I'm on? I did have it, I'm just wondering where it's disappeared to. Maybe I un-ticked some Setting by accident un-knowingly or something? All's that's ticked is Driving > Driving Directions. I've somehow gotten into a screen with half-and-half of Streetview on the top and bottom-half the Map I'm following, where-as before I just had all of Streetview when I selected the orange-man no half-and-half. Maybe I have just un-ticked something I don't know.....

With the full view / half view problem, press the arrow in the bottom right corner that my black arrow is pointing to here:

Do you mean the blue line that would float above you? I'm missing that (not that I really miss it ) also, so I suspect it is something Google changed, as often it didn't align properly with the road. I think they made some change to Street view during the week - certainly Streetview was turned off for a time.

Aw that's great Victor thank you! That was exactly the problem! Half of the streets/roads/area I wanted to see when a whole screen of said streets/roads/area would have given the "full-picture." /getscoat :cool:

Sorry after ya going to the trouble of replying. I sometimes forget to come back and check after asking something. I had forgotten to come back and check in case anyone replied, and then I was using Maps today for something and said I must check if anyone had any ideas for me. That's perfect. I don't like the half-and-half, I find it kinda annoying, I prefer it in full view.

Yeah the long blue line that basically mimics yer route navigationally, tells ya which side to go, be it on the map or by street . I still have it in Maps / orange-man view just not in Street-view. Yeah it wasn't 100% fully-aligned but it was pretty good/manageable though assisted with the compass and main directions at the top of the screen. You'd nearly be off-course with orange-man and you wouldn't realize it at all lol! Well I would be anyway!

There's 2 little grey arrows in the bottom-right-corner alright I see now where your black arrow is pointing that you can switch between half-and-half and full-view. Handy enough. I'll probably get into using the half-and-half with the blue navigational line gone.
