Art with wood from forest

    Hi all,

    I live close to a wood and sometimes we pick up the branches for our chimney, and I was thinking to do some art craft with some of them, like decorate frames or put in a vase with some decorations from Christmas

    Anybody know if this wood need to be treated before with some product? My house has a wood windows and floors and I'm not sure if can pass some bugs.
