Good, Playable Winter (2) Gloves?

Has anyone found a pair of gloves they can actually play in? For days when it's freezing, and your hands go numb, I'm thinking of getting a pair.

Trouble is, any I've bought in the past just don't fit right, or feel all wrong.

I have Mizuno ones now, and the fingers get in a bulky tangle when you interlock your grip.

My father in law just uses two normal golf gloves. He tried the proper winter gloves but had the same complaint as you, so just bought a left handed golfers glove aswell. He finds it great.

Have tried them all. I suffer badly with cold hands, the only solution for me is two regular golf gloves plus two mycoal hand warmer , the stay warmer much longer than the gel yokes and are not as bulky!

    Cheers

    I use these

Find them fine to play with but if really (really really) cold you might need to wear mits over them between shots.

Sealskins; once you are moving they are brilliant; water and wind proof; i bought mine in a bike shop in tallaght cyclesuperstore i think it was

I use them in work; i walk a lot in this weather and have to write out doors also; These have never let me down and have also used them golfing and you still have touch and most importantly warmth.

You will pay for them but worth it and they last too

Under Armour do a pair. It took a while to adjust to wearing two gloves, particularily with the putter, but they've worked well for me.

I've got these too, though I do tend to take off the right hand glove when taking my shot.

Feel like they have a nice seal and they do keep the hands warm, but they are definitely a little thicker than a standard glove

LIkewise as above, i do keep a pair of mits in the bag too for a little extra warmth when necessary

I just wear an pair of good Thinsulate gloves (Dunnes best) over my golf glove in between shots and take them off to hit the ball

I picked up a pair of Ski Mittens from Aldi/Lidl and wear them between shots and then ordinary single glove for taking a shot, a bit annoying to do but ordinary golf gloves do not insulated in any manner whereas the mittens are toasty.
You can purchase an expensive pair of golf mittens if you are so inclined, but the €7 pair I got from Aldi/Lidl do the same job and are pretty much identical in appearance.

They were under armour as mentioned by a couple of posters, find them great, great grip in the wet and also keeps the chill off the hands even when wet, gonna invest in another pair for this winter, think I paid 20e for the pair.

How are they size wise? I use a medium/large footjoy in normal golf gloves.

They are the ones, you can get 10 pairs for about £8 quid on Amazon. A handy item to order along with other stuff to get the free delivery. I used a different one today playing golf that I found in a kitchen drawer that was foil packed about 3 x 4 x 1/2 inch, kept it in my pocket and it worked very well and was still quite warm at the end of the round. I just too it out and held it between my hand when they got cold.
The winter golf gloves alone are just not enough for cold blooded me!
    Cheers

I use a large myself, I can't see a size on the UA but they fit like a glove, excuse the pun, nice and tight fit the same as a regular glove except they are a bit thicker and a hell of alot warmer, I always wear them when its raining and find they perform great. Well worth 20e.

Thanks guys. Stupidly never thought of buying a right-handed version of what I use on my left. Might give that a go.

The ski glove mitten type thing looks warm, but not sure about the whole on/off process for every shot.
