    From Wrestlezone...

-Smackdown opens up with John Cena. Cena comes out and mocks Dolph Ziggler. He jokes about Ziggler to the point where he is interrupted, but by Alberto Del Rio. Del Rio comes out to confront Cena, and tells him that Smackdown is his show. He begins to make fun of Cena, and Cena says he will not wait until a main event to get into a fight.

    1. John Cena defeated Alberto Del Rio. This was a pretty solid match, with exchanges back and forth. Cena would win, but get attacked by Dolph Ziggler on top of the stage. Ziggler attacked Cena with his briefcase. Dolph stood tall after.

    - Backstage, John Cena is upset and wants to fight Dolph Ziggler. Booker T announces Sheamus vs. Dolph Ziggler for later tonight.

    2. The Great Khali defeated David Otunga in an old fashioned Khali-style squash match. Hornswoggle was in his corner.

    3. Kofi Kingston, Daniel Bryan, and Kane defeated Prime Time Players and Wade Barrett. This was about a fifteen minute match with a lot of back and forth action. Kingston hit a great spot in the middle of the match. The crowd was really receptive of the 6 men, and the finish came when Kane chokeslammed Young and Bryan locked in the submission hold.

    - Damien Sandow came out to cut a promo, and decided to look for an apprentice. He brought a fan from the crowd into the ring, but he failed on the last question Sandow asked.

    4. Damien Sandow defeated Tyson Kidd in a quick victory. Damien hit his neckbreaker to finish off Kidd, who hit a few quick offensive moves. The match lasted less than 4 minutes.

    5. Heath Slater and Jinder Maha (3MB) defeated The Uso's. This was also another quick match, with 3MB controlling all of it. Uso's hit a few moves, including a splash, but could not get any offense going. Mahal hit a Full Nelson Slam for the victory.

    6. Sheamus defeated Dolph Ziggler via Disqualification.Dolph toyed around with Sheamus, hit a few clothesline until Sheamus fired back. Sheamus caught Ziggler mid air and shoved him into the barricade outside. Ziggler ducked the Brogue Kick and hit a DDT. Sheamus locked Ziggler in the cloverleaf, but Big Show came down and had Ziggler DQ'd. Both men attacked Sheamus until John Cena came to Sheamus' aid. This ended Smackdown.

Sounds good. Nice to see the Ziggler push continuing. I guess Raw will see Sheamus and Cena vs Show and Ziggler which would also be good.

The Uso's are just jobbed out every week, as are Primo and Epico. Do people care about this at all? I think the Uso's have a great look and should not just be staring at the lights week in and week out.

Pretty good show. Opening match was very good with an interesting finish. It would make things better if wrestlers won matches like that more often rather than standard finishers. It wasn't the only enjoyable match either.

WWE had some really good tv matches this week. Going by this thread wrestling really isn't what people want to see though!

No its just that nobody cares about Smackdown at the end of the day. I watched friday night but just didn't bother posting. I always get the feeling with wwe if anything was good on smackdown they'll do it again on Raw. Big red mark against them not having Sin Cara wrestling. Joking that he's Alluring has given his character an ounce of depth.

Thanks for proving my point with that statement.

Considering Smackdown always had good wrestling matches on it, it remains my opinion that the lack of interest in smackdown shows an overall lack of interest in watching straight forward tv matches.

I'm not saying people should be doing anything differant btw or that they should be salivating over another Del Rio v Cena or Ziggler v Sheamus match. Just a passing comment/opinion.
