Does anyone know of any handicap qualifying open competitions over the Winter months?

(other than Titleist Series in Portmarnock, which is a bit beyond me at the moment off the blues)

How do you know if a winter open comp is qualifying? Is it a just a matter of ringing the course and finding out on the day?

I'd say almost all parkland courses are non qualifying, but the links courses are but if conditions are bad they maybe reduction only. Shame a few more of the links courses don't do opens during the winter.
